Edward Bill Wahleithner
May 12, 1916 - May 6, 2009

Edward "Bill" Wahleithner, of White Lake entered into eternal life on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the home of his daughter, Mary, in Appleton who gave loving care with Theda Care Hospice . He was 92 years old.

Bill was born May 12, 1916 in White Lake, the son of the late Marcus and Anna (Babler) Wahleithner.

Bill married Jeanette Bricco on June 18, 1941 at St. James Catholic Church, White Lake. She preceded him in death on November 14, 2007.

He was a member of St. James and Stanislaus Catholic Congregation of White Lake and Langlade. Bill was a life long dairy farmer and was employed by the White Lake School District as a bus driver for 29 years. In his retirement he enjoyed driving tractor for his nephew Jerome Wahleithner of Wolf River Seed Farms until 2005. Bill enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, giving farm tractor rides and telling them stories of growing up on the farm.

Surviving are four daughters, Mary (Timothy) O'Brien Appleton, Irene (Ryan) Baldwin Chicago, Ill, Jane (Edwin) Hammond Appleton, Betty (Steve) Schuelke Peshtigo; son, William (Patty) Wahleithner White Lake, 13 Grandchildren 2 step Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, and a sister-in-law Georgine Wahleithner, Antigo

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his four sisters Agnes Bohm, Celia McGee, Caroline Malliet, and Annie Mayo and three brothers Clarence, Fred, and Marcus "Mike" Wahleithner.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2009 at St. James Catholic Church, White Lake. Rev. David Kiefer will officiate.

Internment will follow in the St. James Catholic Cemetery, White Lake.

Visitation will be held from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Friday with a parish wake service at 4 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home, Hwy 45, Antigo and Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church.

"I still haven't met anyone who can tell a story better than you could. I'll never forget the look you gave me when I came home from college the first time. My heart still aches as bad as it did the day we lost you. I love you, Grandpa. "
