Blanche Radschweit
January 20, 1926 - August 24, 2009

Blanche N. Radschweit, of Antigo, died Monday, August 24, 2009 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was 83 years old. She was born on January 20, 1926 in Pearson to James and Iva (Carter) Nickell. She married Robert Radschweit in Waukegan, Ill on Dec 7, 1947. He preceded her in death on Mar 2, 2000.

She attended grade school in Pearson, moved to Waukegan, Ill where she graduated from Washington High School in 1942. She received her nursing degree from the College of Lake County. In 1978 she moved from Kenosha to Antigo. For many years she and her husband spent winters in Florida.

Survivors include her two sisters, Thelma Bula and Karen Cromwell both of Antigo, many nieces and nephews including her special niece, Donna (Scott) Stancato, Kenosha.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son James in 1992. She was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers Elizabeth Arrowood, Clayton Nickell, Mildred Sargent, Carl Nickell, Clifford Nickell, Irene Nickell and Denny Nickell.

Funeral services will be held on August 28, 2009, Friday at noon at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Anderson officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services.

A memorial has been established for Liberty Baptist Church.
