Audrey M. Harmon
October 13, 1926 - August 24, 2009

Audrey M. Harmon, of Antigo, died Monday, August 24, 2009 at Langlade Hospital in the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 82 years old. She was born on October 13, 1926 in Antigo to the late Arnold Robrecht and Erna (Greenburg) Robrecht Woods. She married James O. Harmon on May 4, 1946 at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo. He preceded her in death on August 4, 2009.

She was a member of St. Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church, an Associate of the Religious Hospitalers of St. Joseph, and past president and treasurer of the Langlade Hospital Auxiliary where she was a member for over 34 years. She was instrumental in establishing the hospital gift shop. She enjoyed many years of volunteering at her church and the hospital.
She graduated from Antigo High School in 1944. She was employed at the Peoples Bank as a bookkeeper, as a lab technician at Kraft Foods, and at Wards as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed knitting, crafts, cooking, feeding and watching the birds in her yard, and most importantly spending time with her family.

Survivors include her two daughters, Susan (Abraham) Diamond, Beaumont, Calif, Patricia (Russell) Dahms, Galesburg, ILL, a son-in-law, Michael Jones, Pickerel, two sisters, Betty (Marvin) Piper and Ruth (Pete) Suick, both of Antigo, a half sister, Julie (Henry) Horn, Antigo, a brother, James (Sandy) Robrecht, Antigo, a half brother, Tom (Shirley) Woods, Antigo, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Nancy Jones, a son, William Harmon, and a sister, Carol Jean Yarie.

Services will be held on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. Jeremiah Worman, officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be August 27, 2009 Thursday from 3:30 to 7 p.m. with the Langlade Hospital Auxiliary meeting at 3:45 p.m. and a parish wake service at 4 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home.
