Lucille Zimmel

Lucille Zimmel, of Pickerel, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the home of her daughter. She was 86 years old. She was born on December 8, 1922 in Addison Township, Washington County to the late John A. and Magdalena (Hefter) Hug. She married Frederick J. Zimmel on Aug 9, 1945 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Nenno, WI. He survives.

She lived in the Allenton area until moving to Pickerel in 2006. She is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Pickerel and Resurrection Catholic Church and Christian Mothers in Allenton. She was also a member of Fohl-Martin American Legion Auxiliary Unit 483. She and her husband were custodians of the Addison Town Hall. She was an avid Milwaukee Brewer fan.

Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Mary (Richard) Guenther, Pearson, a son, Joel (Kathy) Zimmel, Van Dyne, four sisters, Melania Becker, Hartford, Bernadine Tuesch, Kewaskum, Grace Lamers, Wittenberg, Darlene Beistle, Hartford, two brothers, Ronald (Gladys) Hug, Neosho, Lawerence (Joyce) Hug, Kohlsville, six grandchildren, Richard (Judy) Guenther,Jr., Brandon, Daniel (Denise) Guenther, North East, MD, Donald (Sara) Guenther, Oconomowoc, Melissa (Rocky) Siemers, Elcho, Phillip (Trisha) Zimmel, Lomira, Joeleen Zimmel, Green Bay, eight great grandchildren, ; .
She was preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 18, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church with Rev. Richard Stoffel officiating. Burial will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, September 18 from 12:30 pm until time of services. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
