Lorraine Hendrick
August 9, 1922 - September 17, 2009

Lorraine Hendrick, longtime Antigo resident, died Thursday, September 17, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. She was 87 years old. She was born on August 9, 1922 in Antigo, to Charles and Mary (Pregler) Fleischman. She married Harry Hendrick on July 5, 1941 at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo.
He preceded her in death on October 11, 2004.

She was raised in Antigo and attended St. John Grade School. Mrs. Hendrick was a nurses aid at Langlade Memorial Hospital for many years retiring in 1974. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, and their Christian Mothers and Altar Societies, the Leland Tollefson Veteran of Foriegn Wars Post 2653 Auxillary, the Paul Marmes Disabled American Veterans Chapter 23 Auxillary, and the Central Wisconsin Chapter of the American Ex Prisoner Of War Association Auxillary. She enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching and was a fan of the Green Bay Packers.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary (Jim Sr.) Omernik, Neenah, Kathy (Steve) Jensen, Antigo, two sons, Bernard Hendrick, Two Rivers, Chuck Hendrick, Appleton, a sister, Nancy Wilcenski, Neenah, seven grandchildren, Roxann Hanson, Scott Hendrick, Michael Hendrick, Lisa Hendrick, Jim Omernik, Jr., Lorena Munoz, Amanda Jensen, five great-grandchildren, Joshua, Brent, Levi, Alicia and Emily.

In addition to her parents and husband, two sisters, Loretta Mae and Genevieve, three brothers, Harold, William and Edward.

Services will be held on Monday, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday at the Bradley Funeral Home from 3:30 - 7 p.m. with the parish wake service at 4 p.m. Visitation on Monday will be at the funeral home from 9 - 10 a.m.
