Carol Cook
December 17, 1938 - September 19, 2009

Carol Cook, of Antigo, died Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was 70 years old. She was born on December 17, 1938 in Town of Ackley, to Royal and Stella (Galligan) Robinson. She married Osie Cook Sr. on July 26, 1955 in Columbus, Mississippi. He survives.

She was raised in Langlade County then moved to Racine as a teenager where she worked at Hamilton Beach and Oster's. She moved to California in 1964 where she worked for Lockheed Martin. In 1969 the family moved back to Langlade County. She obtained her Commercial Drivers License and with her husband was an over the road truck driver for eight years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, photography, genealogy, knitting, quilting and embroidery.

Survivors including her husband are two sons, Osie Jr. (Deborah Koutnik) Cook, Jacksonville, Florida, Russell Cook, Antigo, a daughter, Lisa Fischer, Antigo, eight grandchildren, Melissa (Rick) Dorn, Matthew Cook, Kathleen Koutnik Cook, Jason Koutnik, Faith Cook, Tyler Cook, Ian and Emily Fischer, two great grandchildren Braeden and Becca Dorn, sister, Jeannine Siliva, Antigo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Colton Fischer, two sisters Illene Ostrum and Audrey Cook, two brothers Donald and Milton Sr., Robinson.

Services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Strong officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 until the time of services.
