Juanita Nita King
November 6, 1926 - October 1, 2009

Juanita Nita King, of Summit Lake, died Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Langlade Hospital. She was 82 years old. She was born on November 6, 1926 in Summit Lake, to John and Mae (Gehrke) Eaton. She married Clarence King Jr. on Nov. 15, 1947 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Deerbrook. He survives.

Mrs. King was a lifelong resident of Summit Lake where she and her husband owned and operated the Palace of Mirrors Tavern. She was a cook at Bass Lake Country Club for 15 years and worked at Fischer's Meat Market for 10 years. For fourty years she was a member of the Noetzelman-Boodry American Legion Post 377, Auxillary in Elcho.

Survivors including her husband are two sons, Randall (special friend Joanne) King, Antigo, Joseph (Ruth) King, Lakewood, Ohio, two brothers, Jack (Ramona) Eaton, Gleason, Darrell Eaton, Paduka, Ky, five sisters, Ann McNutt, Forest Park, ILL, Ardith Rice, Fond du lac, June Jeske, Three Lakes, Lorraine Walker, Madison, Donna (Jerry) Emmenecker, Mosinee, two grandchildren, Sommer (Aaron) Baeseman, Edgar, Sarah King, Lakewood, Ohio, and a great grandchild, Ashlynn Baeseman.

She was preceded in death by parents, a son David in infancy, three brothers, Kenneth Barley, Forest , and Vernon Eaton.

Services will be held on Sunday, at 1:30 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Nancy Richmond officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery in Summit Lake. Visitation will be Sunday from noon until time of services at the funeral home.
