Mildred Louise Pile McDonald
February 10, 1939 - December 30, 2015

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Louise Pile McDonald, age 76, of Monroe will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with burial in the Bethsaida Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Mrs. McDonald passed from this life on December 30, 2015 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born February 10, 1939 in Fentress County to the late Waverly and Clara Upchurch Pile. She was a school teacher librarian at Livingston Elementary. She graduated from high school in 1957 from York Institute, then Tennessee Tech University with a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education and from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. Degree in Library Science She was a member of First Methodist Church in Jamestown, TN. She is survived by her husband, Roger McDonald of Monroe; son daughter-in-law, Scot Kim McDonald of Monroe; 2 daughters sons-in-law, Kim Shean Huff of Knoxville and Susan David Carroll of Knoxville; 9 grandchildren, Madison McDonald, Will McDonald, Eva Huff, Aliza Huff, Joshua Huff, Lilly Carroll, Rachel Carroll, Madeline Carroll, and John David Carroll; and a sister, Marcella Upchurch of Jamestown. She is preceded in death by her parents and twin grandsons: Aaron and Benjamin Huff. Pallbearers to serve are David Carroll, Sean Huff, Craig McDonald, Seth McDonald, Will McDonald, Caleb McDonald. Honorary Pallbearers are Tom Hall Austin Hall.
