Margaret Peterson

Margaret Peterson, of Gleason, died Friday, February 26, 2010 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. She was 96 years old. She was born on December 14, 1913 in Ontario, WI to Samuel and Cora (Wallace) Starner.
She married Herman Peterson on June 1, 1930 in Merrill. He preceded her in death on February 6, 1981.
Mrs. Peterson attended the Doering Grade School until the 8th grade. She was a member of the Wildwood Chapel, and the United Methodist Women.
Mrs. Peterson was a member of the American Plott Association. She enjoyed hunting and fishing. She also loved spending time in her flower and vegetable gardens.
Survivors include a daughter Janet Cole, Gleason, a daughter-in-law Janet Peterson, Harrison Hills; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, and special friends Frederick (Lorraine)Doepke of Gleason.
She was preceded in death by two sons Robert and Herman, a grandson Steven, a brother, Victor, and three sisters, Dorothy, Charlotte, and Zola.
A memorial Service for Mrs. Peterson will be held on Friday March 5, 2010 at 11:00 am at The Wildwood Chapel with Rev. Don Entenman officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 am until the time of service at the Wildwood Chapel. Burial will take place in Forest View Cemetery. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the family.
