Guy Roland Hutchins
June 10, 1927 - March 13, 2010

Guy Roland Hutchins of Hubertus, WI passed into eternal life on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Eastview Medical Center in Antigo at the age of 82. He was born on June 10, 1927 a son of the late Oscar and Hermine Hutchins.

Guy was born and raised in the town of Hutchins. He served in the Navy at the end of World War II, and upon returning, married the love of his life, June Resch. They have lived their 62 years of married life in the Milwaukee area, raising their 13 children. Guy was a successful mason and cement contractor. He greatly enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren, a good game of cribbage or solitaire, Packers and Brewers games, Zane Grey novels and a rousing rendition of Johnny Cash singing Ring of Fire.

He is survived by his loving wife, June, and children Judy (Dave)Hinickle, John(Elizabeth), Larry(Roxane), Tony(Robyn), Stephen(Chris), Charles(Marianne), Mary(Ken)Low, Guy, Gerard(Kim), Brian, Kelly(Sang), Therese (Jim)Hofmaier, and Peter, other well-loved extended family members, and more than 100 grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Charles (Betty), and many nieces and nephews in the Hutchins, Bates, and Schattl families.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 16 at 10:00 am at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo. Rev. Charles Hoffmann will be officiating.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 17 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Bradley Funeral Home, Antigo with a wake service at 4:30 pm. A second visitation will be held on Wednesday from 8:30 am until 9:30 am at the funeral home.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, March 19 at 11:30 am at St. Columba Cemetery, Hwy 164 and Cty Rd Q in Colgate, WI.

Guy's family would like to thank the loving caregivers at Eastview Rehabilitation Center in Antigo, and particularly the gracious kindness and wisdom of Dr. James Turnbull.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial Masses are greatly appreciated.
