Freddie Ray Kelly, of Antigo, died Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 59 years old. He was born on November 28, 1950 in Readstown, a son of Robert and Barbara (Hadley) Kelly. He was raised in the Kickapoo Valley later moving to Lake Geneva. He married Gloria Hitz on September 24, 1972 in Elkhorn. She survives.
In 1977 they moved to Antigo to raise their family.
He was a member of the WI Laborers Local 1359, most recently working on reconstructing bridges.
His pride and joy was to spend time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, spending time in the Kickapoo Valley, playing the guitar and harmonica and playing football and other games with his family.
In addition to his wife survivors include his mother, Barbara, Viroqua; a daughter, Laura Kelly, Antigo; three sons, Jason, James and Freddie Jr. all of Aniwa; eleven grandchildren; six sisters; and three brothers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Kelly.
Services will be held on Friday at 10:30 am at the Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday and again on Friday from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
