Judy Kautza, of Birnamwood, died Monday, April 26, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 65 years old. She was born on July 20, 1944 in Milwaukee, a daughter of Henry and Florence Lex.
She graduated from Menomonee Falls High School and worked as a bank teller in Menomonee Falls. She married Richard Krimmer in 1963. The couple later divorced. She moved to Lily in 1972 and later owned and operated the Lily Pad Bar.
In 1989 she married Jack Kautza, he survives. The couple owned and operated Kautza Excavating and Septic Services. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, traveling, wintering in Florida, and spending time with family and grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aniwa where she sang in the church choir and was active in many church functions.
Survivors including her husband Jack are a daughter Diane White, Marshfield; three sons Daniel (Carolyn) Krimmer, Birnamwood, Rick Krimmer, Jackson, Tenn, Rod Krimmer (Shannon Krugel), Antigo; two step sons Jerrod Kautza (Holly Jahn), Aniwa and Jason Kautza, Birnamwood; a step daughter Jackie (Ryan) Fett, Sullivan; 11 grandchild Brie, Andrew (Rachel), Brandon and Danielle Krimmer, Shannon White, Nick and Levi Krimmer, Montana and Izabelle Kautza, Abigail and Jack Fett; one great grandson Owen Krimmer; a sister Terri Gessert, Florida; a brother Dick (Iris) Lex, Biloxi, Miss; a mother-in-law Hilma Kautza, Antigo, two sister-in-law Janice Lex, Ohio, Delores (Dan) Borneman, Polar; a brother-in-law Dave (Diane) Kautza, Antigo.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Lex, a brother-in-law Don Gessert, a sister-in-law, LeAnn Menting and father-in-law, George Kautza.
Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Aniwa with Pastor Betty Wyatt officiating. Entombment will take place in Aniwa Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Bradley Funeral Home and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
