Rose Keller
May 16, 1919 - May 9, 2010

Rose M. Keller, of Deerbrook, died Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Kasman Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. She was 90 years old. She was born on May 16, 1919 in Antigo, a daughter of the late Nick and Marie (Stork) Franc. She married Frank Keller on June 6, 1944 in Antigo. He preceded her in death on October 2, 1995.

In 1944 she and her husband became owners and operators of a dairy farm in Neva until their retirement in 1979. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her talent of being able to prepare a meal in a moment's notice and baking special treats.

Survivors include two daughters, Gloria (Herbert) Anderson, New Ulm, MN and Patricia (Norman) Kufner, Albuquerque, NM; a son, George (Kathy) Keller, Belvidere, IL; ten grandchildren, Andrew (Carin) and Brian Keller and Joel Kufner, Jill (Aaron Shelley) Tollefson, Kathryn (Ryan) Pitchford, Nick (Amanda), Lindsay, Kimberly, Adam and Andrea Kufner; 3 great-grandchildren, Paul Keller and Lauren and Colton Kufner; two sisters Clara (Ron) Shadick, Weyerhaeuser; and Mary Keller, Deerbrook.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ed and Frank Franc.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 22 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will take place in the Town of Neva Bohemian National Cemetery, Neva. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
