Patricia Leffel
August 10, 1938 - May 28, 2010

Patricia Leffel, of Pickerel, died Friday, May 28, 2010 at Eastview Medical & Rehabilitation Center. She was 71 years old. She was born on August 10, 1938 in Curtis, a daughter of the late Walter and Cathrine (Schifler) Krueger. She married Melvin Mac Leffel in 1953 in Curtis.

She was raised in Colby and moved to Pickerel in 1960. She and her husband owned and operated The Anchor Inn in Pickerel for 15 years. They moved to Antigo in 1975 where they owned operated Leffels Supper Club for 13 years.

She was a member of Arbutus Lutheran Church, Langlade County Tavern League, Wisconsin Restaurant Association and served as secretary of Chip and Dale Condominiums Association.

She enjoyed bowling and golfing.

Survivors including her husband are two daughters Sandra (Scott) Van Boekel, Antigo, Jill Leffel, Antigo; two sons Marvin (Dawn) Leffel, Antigo, Terry (Linda) Leffel, Antigo; seven grandchildren, Jamie Steliga, Mathew Leffel, Nicloe Knicker, Jason Leffel, Arin Mattmiller, Donovan Leaser, Richard Hurlbert; 11 great-Grandchildren Seth and Ethen Steliga, Ashley Knicker, Oliva Leffel, Madison and Maycee Mattmiller, Kennedy and Kale Siegman, Cierra, Edan and Reed Hurlbert; three step grandchildren Christopher (Stacy) Orgeman, Kerri Orgeman, Nathan (Ashly) Schmidt; three step great grandchildren Jordan, Zoe and Holly Orgeman; three sisters Gerry Leffel, Pickerel, Pam (Larry) Bunkelman, Indiana, Arlene Luloff, Germantown; a brother Dennis (Sheri) Krueger, Curtis.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Renae' Hurlbert, a brother, Fred Krueger.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Nancy Richmond officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established to the Alzheimer's Association.
