Philip W. Boivin
June 30, 1964 - July 25, 2010

Philip Wally Boivin, of Antigo, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 64 years old. He was born on June 30, 1946 in Keshena a son of the late Joseph and Annie (Frechette) Boivin. He married Judith Kosik on December 3, 1983 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit. She survives.

He graduated from Shawano High School in 1964. Mr. Boivin served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from May 29, 1964 to March 8, 1970.
He was a machinist at Waukesha Bearings for 19 years retiring in 2003.
He was a member of St. John Catholic Church and the church adult choir, the MSGR. Conrad Saile Council 1002 Knights of Columbus and Assembly 1214, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 662 and the Leland Tollefson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2653 all in Antigo.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife survivors include four sisters, Mary Zipperer, Racine, Rosie (Alfred) Waubanascum, Neopit, Edith LeRoy, Keshena and Phyllis (John) Nahquawah, Zoar; a brother, William Boivin (Janice Kosik), Antigo; two sisters-in-law, Darla Boivin, Neopit and Kathy Boivin, California; and a brother-in-law, Ed Bohlman, Clintonville.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Josephine Boivin, Evelyn Decredie and Margaret Bohlman and five brothers, Raymond, Donald, Joseph, Robert and John.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in St. Anthony Cemetery in Neopit. Visitation will be 3:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Bradley Funeral Home. A parish wake service will be held at 4:00 p.m. a Knights of Columbus Rosary Service at 5:00 p.m. and an Elks Lodge of Sorrow Service at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. The Antigo veterans will conduct military rites at the church following the Mass.
