Jerald Rosenow
October 13, 1936 - August 2, 2010

Jerald Jer Bear Rosenow, of Pickerel, passed away peacefully at his home on August 2, 2010. He was 73 years old. He was born on October 13, 1936 in Shawano a son of the late Norbert Sr. and Dorothy (Hacker) Rosenow.

He graduated from Shawano High School and served in the United States Army. He married Rosemary Rent, the couple later divorced.

Mr. Rosenow lived in Appleton where he was employed at Thilmany Paper Company in Kaukauna for over 30 years. After retirement he moved to his his dream home on Pickerel Lake.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and football.

Survivors include a brother, Norbert (girlfriend Delores) Rosenow Jr., Green Bay; a brother-in-law, Clarence Schroeder, Waukesha; nieces, nephews, cousins, and his dog, Shyla. Mr. Rosenow will also be missed by many friends including, Jon and Kathy Drewniak, Denise Lornson, Al Meier, Larry Voras, Ernest Bostwick, Angel Little Puppy Drewniak, and Suzie.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Schroeder and an infant sister, Betty Lou Rosenow.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Strong officiating. Burial will take place in Lily Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday at the Funeral Home.

The family extends a thank you to the nurses and cleaning laides from the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain for the care they provided Mr. Rosenow.

The day finally arrived, he was already in his own Heaven. He will always be with his beautiful cabin on the lake with all the memories he made there. A father to some, a grandfather to others, but most of all a loving and giving person to know.
