Chuck Moore, of Antigo, died Friday, August 27, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 70 years old. He was born on September 8, 1939 in McConnelsville, Ohio a son of the late Howard and Anna (Ponchek) Moore. He married Carol Walker on June 6, 1959 in Antigo.
Mr. Moore served in the United States Air Force from 1958 to 1962.
He was a parts manager at Elderon Truck and Equipment Sales and Service. He was member of the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge #662, Antigo and loved to play golf.
In addition to his wife survivors include four children, Jeff (Peggy) Moore, Durham, NC, Dawn Moore (Bill Heipp), Wausau, Greg (Shannon) Moore, Wausau and Steven Moore, Green Bay; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Eleanor (Hugh) Phillips, Ohio and Donna (Ray) Bone, Ohio; a brother, Dana Moore, Ohio; and sister-in-law, Nancy Moore, Florida.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Moore.
Join the family for a celebration of his life on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremiah Worman officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday with an Elks Lodge of Sorrow service at 2:00 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place at Queen of Peace Cemetery. The celebration will continue at the Knights of Columbus Hall from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m.
At his request come dressed in casual or golf attire.
