David Williams
December 19, 1936 - September 4, 2010

David L Williams, of Antigo, died Saturday, September 4, 2010 under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. He was 73 years old. He was born on December 19, 1936 in Milladore, a son of John and Mae (Spencer) Williams. He married Bettie Sinkler on October 7, 1967 in Kenosha. She survives.

He graduated from Bradford High School, Kenosha.

Mr. Williams worked for Coca-Cola in Kenosha for several years. He served in the United States National Guard and was called to active duty during the Berlin Crisis. From 1955 to 1995 he worked for S.C. Johnson Wax in Sturtavent.

After retirement he lived in Florida for eight years and moved to Antigo in 2001.

He was a member of the 20 year club at Johnson Wax and the Moose Lodge in Kenosha.

He enjoyed hunting, watching NASCAR, country music and was a Minesota Viking fan.

Survivors include three sons Richard, David and Edward Williams all of Kenosha, two grandsons Austin and Evan Williams of Berryville, Ark. five sisters Dorothy Scheel, Marshfield, Lena Dumesik, Racine, Faith Poplawski, Racine, Ruth Ertl, Racine, Mary Roskilly, Georgia; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters Clara Williams, Gladys Hoekstra and Virginia Arndt.

Services will be held on Saturday at 1:30 PM at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Kindle, officiating. Entombment will take place in Sunset Ridge Cemetery in Kenosha. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. until the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
