Harland M. Borneman Sr.
April 15, 1931 - November 1, 2010

Harland Borneman Sr., of Phillips, died Monday, November 1, 2010 at his home. He was 79 years old. Born on April 15, 1931 in Polar he was a son of the late Leonard and Frances (Schisel) Borneman. He married Clara Verhagen the couple later divorced. He later married Rhodora Everard on October 6, 1979 in Michigan the couple later divorced but remained close companions for 31 years.

He lived in numerous states including Montana, Alaska, Washington and Michigan residing the last 10 years in Phillips.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and running sled dogs.

In addition to his ex-wives survivors include three daughters, Frances (Richard) Gall, West Allis, Darlene (Robert) Raines, Mukwonago and Patricia (Richard) Provost, Muskego; three sons, Harland (Brigitte) Borneman Jr., Virginia, Leland Borneman, Milwaukee and Scott (Heidi) Borneman, Milwaukee; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Verona Schuurmans, California; and three step-children, Carrie (Newton) Markley, Waukesha, Barbara Daley, West Allis and David Everard, Milwaukee.

He was preceded in death by a son, Calvin Borneman; three sisters, Genevieve Lozano, Gloria Honzik and infant sister Norma; and three brothers, Floyd, Reuben and Dale.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Nancy Richmond officiating. Burial will take place in St. Peter Cemetery, Polar. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home.
