Michael Keith Beaty, 63, of Redmond, WA passed away peacefully at home on February 8th surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer.
Mike was born in Owatonna, MN on February 9th, 1954 to Thomas and Anita Beaty. The family moved to Aberdeen, WA in 1957. In 1960, the family moved to Redmond, WA where he went to Redmond HS. In 1972 the family moved to Spokane where he started work in the door business and married Tina Henson in 1976. They had 2 children and moved back to Redmond in 1982 where he ran his own business, B&O Lumber until he became ill.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert. He is survived by his wife Tina, children Gretchen and Thomas (Christina), grandchildren Nicholas and Hadlee, sisters Nancy and Mary.
Mike enjoyed cars and races, boating and water sports and spending time with family and friends at Crescent Bar, WA.
Celebration of life to follow in the spring at Crescent Bar.
There will be an adult gathering and safety meeting at 5pm, Feb. 23rd at B&O Lumber, 8531 152nd Ave. NE, Redmond, WA 98052.
