Jerry Anderson
September 19, 1951 - February 14, 2011

Jerry Anderson, of Antigo, died Monday, February 14, 2011 at his home. He was 59 years old. He was born on September 19, 1951 in Antigo, a son of the late Hilber and Irene (Kayhart) Anderson.

He was a graduate of Elcho High School and married Darlene (Baginski) Spaeth, the couple later divorced.

He worked in the construction trade for many years, most recently as co-owner of A&R Builders in Antigo until his retirment in 2009. He was most proud of his work restoring the interior of the caboose on the Langlade County Historical Society grounds.

He played the drums for Green Apple Quick Step Band. Mr. Anderson enjoyed golfing, snowmobiling, hunting and fishing. He valued time spent with his grandchildren and will be remembered as one who was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Survivors include his significant other Shar Stewart, Antigo; three sons, Neil (Holly) Anderson, Antigo, Tim (Amanda) Spaeth, Appleton and Scott (Pam) Stewart, Antigo; a daughter Kim (Mike) Benes, Antigo; twelve grandchildren, Chelsey, William, Burgandy, Brandon, Blake, Brennen, Bradynn, Brady, Alyssa, Alexis, Kayle and Carter; four sisters, Julie (Ed) Fischer, Bella Vista, Arkansas, Carol (John) Joslin, Minneapolis, Minn, Betty (Dave) Greisinger, Oshkosh and Linda (Ron) Middleton, Inverness, Florida; a brother, Robert (Julie) Anderson, Appleton; also many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. David Karolus officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from noon until the time of services at the funeral home.
