Tim Shore wrote on Feb 20, 2018:

"A wonderful classmate from Bay View High School. I can remember John talking about a car drive from Chicago he and Adamceck in record time. In English class I was asked to read a passage and John turned around in his chair to egg me on. It was during the '68 presidential campaign when Pat Paulson from the Smothers Brothers was running for President and I read as if I were Pat skipping words and parts of sentences. The laugh from John and his happy face I can picture to this day. He was a very kind soul. Rest in peace. Tim Shore"

"Very sorry to hear of John's passing. Though I didn't know him well I'll always have a fond memory of a meeting we had while we were both serving in the Air Force. Out of the blue, 8,000 miles from home, we ran into each other and shared a "Bay View " moment. To see a friendly face from back home at that time was uplifting. Thanks John! My condolences to Peggy and John's entire family. Bob Kozinski BV '70"
