Weslaco- Daniel " Danny" Cisneros, 46, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 18th, 2018. He was born on May 20, 1971 to Oscar and Irene Cisneros. Danny was the eldest of four children and grew up in Weslaco where he graduated from Weslaco High School in 1989. He was an athlete throughout his childhood and high school years excelling in baseball and football.
After high school, Danny worked for L& F Distributrs for many years as a sales person. He worked for the oil rigs as a floor hand for nearly ten years.
Danny loved football and baseball. He enjoyed going fishing, but his happiest time was when he would barbeque with his family and friends and spend time with his beautiful girls. He loved helping others, especially those at his church, Templo de Adoracion in Weslaco. Danny had a heart of Gold and was always willing to help anyone in need with a huge smile.
Danny is preceded in death by his loving wife, Heather Cisneros and his father, Oscar Cisneros.
He is survived by his daughters, Sarah Lizbeth and Sophie Daniella, his mom, Irene Cisneros, brothers, David Cisneros and his wife, Tricia of Weslaco and Oscar Cisneros and his wife Alicia of Pennsylvania, sister, Kristina Rodriguez and her husband Noel, of North Carolina, nephews and nieces, Ryan, Ellee, Jazmine, and Nathan O. Cisneros, and Caleb and Matthew Rodriguez.

"Danny was a hard worker and cared about his family and friends. The guys on the rig never had a bad thing to say about Danny. They all respected him and loved him like a brother. One thing I always made a point to do was visit with him if he was at the rig.
I will always remember driving to the rig and Danny would be cooking for his crew members. Funny thing is I never left the rig hungry.
