"I am very grateful to have had such a special person in my life and my children's. Aunt Monica was so caring, generous and touched so many lives. I have so many great memories but two come to mind that we always laughed at on our hour long phone calls. Aunt Monica taught me how to "ride" the waves in the ocean at Jones Beach saying...(or yelling) "ride the bicycle!", "ride the bicycle!" and it worked I didn't drown and I too taught my kids ride the bicycle!!! We all knew Aunt Monica loved to sew....as a child she made me many nightgowns but there was always that one straight pin that she forgot to remove...ouch! We all loved you so much!!"
