Marjorie F. Camp
February 12, 1933 - February 28, 2018

Marjorie Fern Camp, Age 85, passed away on February 28, 2018. She was born February 12, 1933, to Alta and Alden Harkness of Elmwood, Illinois. She was one of eight children; the only daughter, and sister to seven brothers.
Marjorie, or "Marge", as she was called by most who knew her, resided in Elmwood all her life until recently, when she relocated to Prescott Valley, Arizona.
Marge was married on October 21, 1950, to Ronald (Sonny) Camp. Together they raised four sons: Ron Camp of Prescott Valley, AZ; Gary Camp of Flint, TX; Rick Camp of Elmwood, IL; and Dennis Camp of Bullard, TX. She is survived by her four sons and her brother, Jerry Harkness of Peoria, IL.
In addition to her life as a devoted and busy wife and mother, Marge spent time working outside her home, providing local services such as cleaning, restaurant management, and most recently was coordinator of Elmwood's local "Meals on Wheels" program.
Marge was also an active member of the United Methodist Church in Elmwood, where she will be remembered for her service to God and to her community.
A funeral service for Marge will be held at the United Methodist Church in Elmwood at noon on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. The family will be present at the church from 10:00 a.m. to noon on that day to greet friends and relatives who wish to pay final respects to Marge. Following the graveside service at Elmwood Township Cemetery, guests may attend a luncheon at the United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the United Methodist Church in Elmwood or to the Elmwood Fire Department.
