In loving memory of

Vicky Leela Samaroo-Torres
December 17, 1972 - March 4, 2018

Vicky Leela Samaroo- Torres 45, passed away on March 4, 2018 and her soul (aatma) has transcended to attain moksha (salvation) from this physical body and become one with God.

Vicky Leela Samaroo was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad on December 17, 1972, as the first born daughter to the proud parents, Premchan and Ramrajie Samaroo.

Vicky was a wonderful person and the highlight of her young life was becoming a mother. She dedicated her life to her three young children. Vicky was diligent, kind-hearted, simple, humble, patient, understanding and embodied perseverance, tolerance and trustworthiness. She made lasting friendships throughout her varied journeys in life and her untimely passing has left an empty void in the world. She loved spending time with her family, listening to music and cherishing the memorable family engagements.

Vicky is survived by her beloved children, Vanessa (19), Nicholas (18) and Ariana (5), her cherished younger sisters, Vishma Samaroo-Seetal and Vidiya Samaroo as well as her much adored parents and numerous extended family and friends in Trinidad, United States of America and Canada.

'Coming right nigh to Me, these great of soul, are never born again. For rebirth is full of suffering, knows nothing that abides: free from it now they attain the all-highest prize.'

"My heart goes out to the Samaroo-Torres family and friends of Vicky in your time of sorrow. I know Vicky has left you with many precious memories from her short time with us. When death robs us of someone we love very much, it causes much sadness and grief. "Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. Revelations 21: 4 says: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." The family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences. "
