Madge Ford Kaufman

Madge Ford Kaufman, 91, of Hollywood, FL passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. She was born on March 29, 1926 in Carthage, Mississippi to Harold Jackson Triplett and Angela S. "Doss" Triplett. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Leonard Kaufman, children, Marcha Claire (Eric) Schaetzle of Miramar Marc Leonard (Noella) Kaufman of Pembroke Pines and Melodye Gail (John A. Todd) Kaufman of Loxahatchee, grandchildren, Erica Schaetzle, Jessica Long, Joshua Schaetzle, Marissa Kaufman, and Alexa Kaufman, and great-grandchildren, Lazaro Schaetzle and Savannah Hernandez. Madge was of the Baptist faith and moved to Hollywood, FL in 1957 coming from Washington DC, where she worked as a secretary for the Veterans Administration. There she met her husband Leonard, and she became a loving wife and homemaker.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 11th, 2018 from 3:00-4:00 PM with a service to follow at 4:00 PM at Fred Hunters Funeral Home on 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, Florida.
