In loving memory of

James E. McKenna
September 12, 1944 - March 10, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of James (Jim) E McKenna announces his passing after a brief illness on Saturday March 10th, 2018 at the age of 73.

Jim will be remembered by his wife of 26 years and best friend Donna Lee McKenna Love.

Jim was predeceased by his parents James G McKenna and Lillian Billie McKenna, Brothers William B McKenna and Dan McKenna and Sister Michelle Tyson.

Jim leaves behind 10 children Debbie, William, Duane, Richard, Robert and wife Arica,
Corrina, April, Michelle, Jimmy, and his cherished dogs Mandy Woo and Molly B. Jim also leaves behind many grandchildren.

Jim lived in Auburn with the love of his life Donna and their two precious dogs. It was Jims wish to be cremated and he did not want a memorial service. Jim's wish was for "Everyone remember me in your own way"

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the ICU staff at Auburn regional Medical Center for their kindness and compassion during Jim's stay in the hospital.

"You will be so missed jim.You were such a wonderful Step Dad.And a wonderful husband to mom.Im so glad I was blessed to have you in our lives.I will miss your jokes.Anyone that knew you,knows what a wonderful heart you had.I thank God I was able to tell you I love you when you were sick.Im going to miss you answering the phone when I call to see how you and mom are doing and me saying after talking to you,Hey Jim is mom around and you saying nope she's still that skinny little gal I married.lol It always made me laugh.I thank God that I got to spend time with you,when you came all the way to Texas to visit.Im really going to miss you Jim.With a heart and soul like yours I truly know you are in heaven and in no more pain.I love you Jim proud to call you Dad.Debbie."

"Jim and Donna became very good friends of mine when I needed a friend and a shoulder to lean on. I beat him at cribbage and wish he could have had the opportunity to kick my butt. I will miss Jim, miss seeing him with Donna and his ultimate love for her. "
