Tributes

Becky Rump wrote on Jun 13, 2018:

"I believe that I did not share a tribute when Marg passed, as I was traveling at the time. I should have communicated my feelings sooner. Marg was an elegant and eloquent woman who was adored by her brother (and my great friend, Dick Canella) and admired by many. Her husband, Bob, was an SCC Distinguished Alumnus, celebrated along with two of his brothers. As a result, we had an opportunity to visit periodically. We so appreciate the support that she and Bob gave Southeastern Community College over the years. Her presence in the community is missed. My sympathies to her remaining family. Sincerely, Becky Rump"

"I am extending my sympathy to the family of Margaret Canella Matsch. I knew her husband Bob Matsch very well as when my Mother & Dad (Mary & Wally Rayer) were alive Bob would take care of their business at the bank. Bob was also a very dear friend of mine Elizabeth (Rayer) Champion. I briefly knew Margaret and she was very, very nice to everyone. May you rest in peace, Margaret. Liz Champion "

She had a heart of gold and a smile that lit up the room. I will miss you sweet dear, until our souls cross paths again, rest in peace and enjoy reuniting with your loved ones in heaven."

"I have wonderful memories of Marg while growing up. She was involved in most of our family events and was always so much fun and entertaining to be with. I still remember her laugh and it makes me smile whenever I think about it. Sally Beckman"
