Lucille Gladys Auxier, age 89, the daughter of James William and Margaret (Lee) Ray, was born February 13, 1928 in Omaha, Nebraska. She passed away May 29, 2017 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Auxier; parents, James Ray and Margaret Ray; sister, Martha Havelaar; brother, Jim Ray; son-in-law Bob Brown; and many brothers- and sisters-in-law. Survived by her brother Edward Ray, daughters Cathy Brown, Patty Wisecarver (Jim), son Bill Auxier (Deb) all of Omaha; daughter Beverly Auxier of Redondo Beach, CA; son David Auxier-Loyola (Carlos) of Bronx, NY; grandchildren Mark Brown (Joanne) of Gretna NE, Amy Walter (Brian), Matt Wisecarver (Randi), Cody Auxier, Marty Olson, all of Omaha, Bob Snider (Carly) of Bennington, Erin Olson of Charlotte, NC. Nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; special family friend Rev. Moira Foxe, as well as many nieces, nephews and other family & friends. Visitation with family Thursday, June 1st from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Celebration of Life Service, Friday, June 2nd at 11:00 A.M. Both will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Private interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to University of NE Foundation, Immanuel Courtyard, or Omaha Home for Boys.
