"he was the greatest man ever... he was there for me when I truly thought I had nobody... I will miss him everyday"
Jerry Dean Fox, Jr., 56, passed away at home in Buckley, WA, surrounded by family and friends on the evening of March 28, 2018. Jerry was a tough old cuss and fought until the very end.
Jerry was born in Gardena, California on December 31, 1961. He was a handsome and intelligent young man. He graduated from La Sierra High School in Riverside, CA in 1979, and moved to Washington in August of 1980, where he remained for the rest of his days.
Jerry is survived by his children Sara Reeves and Alan Fox; their moms Sharon Pridemore and Sheri King; step children Daniel and Mia Pridemore; his siblings; Ray (Pete) Fox and Tisha Fox; and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents Jerry Dean Fox Sr. and Karen Kay Hayden.
Jerry was known as a charming hardass who was loved by all who knew him but wouldn't take shit from anyone. Women were especially enchanted by Jerry, which he confidently described as "The Fox Curse". He made sure to divulge this information to his children so that they were aware of the curse that was bestowed upon them.
When not diligently working as a truck driver, he enjoyed hanging out with his children, friends, and family, and riding his Harley. He also loved music and could play multiple instruments including the guitar and the harmonica.
Jerry's family is small and he served as a key part of it. He will be fiercely missed by his children and family and all that knew and loved him.
A celebration of his life will be held on April 22, 2018 at 1:00PM at the Auburn Senior Activity Center.
