" Evelyn (Effie) and I went school together from Kindergarten through High School. I have many memories of her. She was a good athlete and one thing I remember most is that she a was a very good student and loved to read. There was always a book in her hand. Our sympathy goes out to her family and though I haven't seen her for many years I will never forget our days at Huron"
