Dolores Pearce, age 84, of Toms River died on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at home. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she lived in Hillside before settling in Toms River.
A homemaker, Dolores (Dee) was a volunteer at Community Medical Center, Toms River for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Her husband, George, died in 2017, and her brother, Leonard Hanus, died in 2012. Surviving are her children, Theresa and her husband Robert of North Wildwood, George Pearce III of Montana, and Nancy Sperry and her husband James of Lancaster, PA; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Cremation was private under the direction of Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. A memorial service will be held of Friday from 12-2pm at the funeral home.
