James Stuart Brokaw

James S. Brokaw, of Green Bay, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 31, 2018. He was 53 years old. He was born on March 20, 1965, in La Crosse, a son of Therese (Mahoney) Brokaw of Antigo and the late Stuart Brokaw. He married Christine Porterfield in 1988, she preceded him in death.
He was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1983. He continued his education at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse receiving his Bachelors of Arts in Business in 1987.
James was an assistant manager for Kwik Trip in Green Bay.
He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, enjoyed traveling and spending time with his dogs.
In addition to his mother, Therese, survivors include two sisters, Margaret and Ellen Brokaw both of Antigo; a brother, Thomas (Michelle) Brokaw of Madison; two nieces, Alyssa and Rebecca Brokaw.
A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church in Hoffmann Hall.
