In loving memory of

Terry Lee Wooten
August 14, 1942 - April 4, 2018

Terry Lee Wooten was born in Seattle on August 14, 1942 to L. Terrance and Ruth F.C. Wooten Coursol, and passed peacefully on April 4, 2018. He grew up in Marysville, WA where the many strawberry fields and woods were his playground. Terry graduated from Marysville High School in 1960. He earned a Psychology degree from Western Washington State College in 1968, the same year he met his wife Carol Feyder. They were married in 1970. Terry worked for Snohomish County Juvenile Court as a probation counselor for 30 years (1968-1998).

Terry treasured time with family. He loved tent camping and relaxing by the fire in his lawn chair. Terry had a passion for golf, and also enjoyed fishing for salmon and trout, or just being out on his boat. He was an avid hunter. His favorite places for recreation were throughout eastern Washington, the Puget Sound, and along the Northwest coast, especially the Kalaloch campground.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, his brother James Wooten, and stepfather Gene Coursol. He is survived by his wife Carol; children Lee (Natalie) Wooten and Lisa (Damon) Clark; and his grandchildren Georgia & Owen Clark and Hudson & Piper Wooten; sister-in-law Denise (Dexter) Hankel; nephew Zakery Hankel; and extended family in Indiana, Arizona & Califonia.
