In 1990 he made his journey to Miami Florida to enjoy his retirement and would often be spotted riding his bicycle throughout the neighborhood.

He enjoyed working with his hands, whether it was building their house or planting in his garden. Many of his neighbors and friends benefited from his efforts, as he was always willing to lend a hand and share his crops. Lloyd took great pride in his family and was always available to nurture the growth of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren instilling in them a strong sense of personal responsibility, hard work and family. A strong belief in education he encouraged everyone to continue learning and would not be found without a book or crossword puzzle keeping his mind ever so sharp.

Visitation will be held at Fred Hunters at 6301 Taft Street Hollywood FL 33024 on April 22, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm. The Funeral service and burial to follow will be at the same location on April 23 at 12pm
