"Sincere sympathy for the whole Schroeder family - grandkids and great grandkids He was a class act and well respected. Growing up as a kid I worked for the county parks during the summer and while working some older gentlemen asked me where I was from and I said Franklin. They talked about Bruce and his brother being great baseball players from Franklin. I remember thinking that was cool here's a man I didn't realize played ball and these guys talked about him, years after he played. That is something I will always admire. He will always be remembered.. "

"Bruce was a great Brother-in-Law . Even before he became my Brother- in-Law I knew him as a Basketball Player for the Franklin Tigers during the rivalry between the Morton Indians and the Tigers. We played against each other several times. Bruce and I shared many stories throughout the years about Sports and fishing. He was a top notch fisherman and small game hunter.. I'll always remember his soft smile, and his quiet demeanor ."
