Earl L Waldron Jr
July 28, 1930 - April 17, 2018

Earl Lawrence Waldron, Jr. was the older of two children born to the late Earl L. Waldron Sr. and Eva Williams-Waldron-Cooper in Omaha, Nebraska on July 28, 1930. He departed this life on April 17, 2018 in Omaha, Nebraska after more than ten years of orthopedic disability.
After completing his education from Omaha Public Schools', Earl was employed for 12 years at Master Craft Furniture Company. He later went on to retire from Lucent Technologies Company after 28 year of service. Earl's avocation was self-taught home building and remodeling; he built two houses, remodeled many and owned four. His hobby was collecting cars; he owned over 50 in his lifetime. He and his Companion, Julia, particularly enjoyed membership in the 50's-60's Social Club.
Mr. Waldron was an active member of Historic St. John A.M.E. Church from childhood until his illness limited his participation. Earl is a 33rd Degree Mason in Rough Ashlar Lodge No. 1, J.D. Consistory 27, and Zaha Temple No. 52. Earl's lodge brother, L. "Curtis" Curry Jr. has visited his lodge brother weekly throughout his 10-year or more illness.
Earl is survived by his Companion of 25 years, Julia Faulkner; and her adult children, Denise, Catherine, Julie, Chonsey and Gregory; as well as her sister, Vickie Combs. All of the latter contributed to Earl's daily home care, especially Julia and Chonsey.
Earl's primary family survivors include his son, Jeffery (Kandi) Spires-Waldron of Omaha, Nebraska; daughter, Cynthia Dumas of Kingstown, Virginia; grandchildren, Sterling and Jamari; great-grandchild, Jordan; sister, Dr. Barbara Waldron-Coffey of Omaha, Nebraska; nephew, William Jai Coffey of Los Angeles, California; cousins, Alva Waldron of Goodyear, Arizona, Jerel Waldron of Shoreview, Minnesota, Wayne Kitchen of Indianapolis, Indiana; other relatives and friends.
Masonic Services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Friday, April 27, 2018 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin following the Masonic Service. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
