In loving memory of

Clarence P. Sale
April 22, 1951 - April 8, 2018

Clarence P. Sale, age 67, died on April 8, 2018 at his home near Poynette, Wisconsin, after a sudden cardiac event.

Clarence was born on April 22, 1951 in Dubuque, Iowa, to Ed and Clementine (McKernan) Sale. He served in the U.S. Navy and Army, retiring after 20 years of dedicated service with the rank of Staff Sergeant. Clarence enjoyed working on cars, and was known for his generosity with his time and mechanical skills whenever loved ones needed a hand. He also had an interest in art, and was skilled at drawing. More than anything, Clarence loved fishing, kayaking, and spending time with his dog, all of which he made ample time for in recent years.

He will be fondly remembered by his son, Kodi Sale, his son's fiancee, Brianna Lealynn; grandchildren, Landen, Brealynn, Aubree and Rylee; brother, Nels Sale; sister, Rita (Sale) Clymer; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Weier, Charles Sale, and Leonard Sale.

Clarence's remains will be interred at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, Wisconsin. A celebration of his life will be held privately this summer. Memorial donations may be made to the Columbia County Humane Society.
