Maynard A Behm, of Antigo, died Friday, April 20, 2018, at Care Partners. He was 96 years old. He was born on May 28, 1921, in Bryant, a son of John and Minnie (Demlow) Behm. He married Margaret Duernberger on June 28, 1941, in Antigo. She preceded him in death on March 5, 2017.
Mr. Behm was a lifelong resident of Langlade County. He was a dairy farmer in the Town of Vilas for 20 years and was employed by Murray Machinery in Wausau retiring in 1982.
Mr. Behm was a member of the International Association of Machinist and Aero Space Workers Local 1438.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and traveling.
In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Callahan; two brothers, Rudolph and Alvin Behm.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Wes Jedras, officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
