"My very dear friend Carole, you will forever hold a special place in my heart. You were an amazing friend who was always so loyal, protective, tell it like it is, kind and thoughtful person to all you loved. We have been friends over 25 years and I considered you my family. I know we went some time apart because sometimes life just gets in the way but when we reconnected it was like absolutely no time had passed. We had years of fun times together doing what we loved most which was shopping and eating. I can still hear you say, "Oh, Sweetie" as you followed it up with your loud, bubbly laugh which would always soften your brutal honesty because thankfully you were the friend who would NEVER let anyone walk around with food in their teeth, have toilet paper stuck to their shoe or something hanging from their nose. I would like to think you are still here since I still receive daily memories of all the things you tagged me in or commented on Facebook and the beautiful red Cardinals that I have been seeing by my house. We were both so excited on our last conversation in February because we had planned for you to drive over in your new car and stay for a visit which deeply saddens me since we never had the chance to do so. I know you are in peace now and reunited with your Mom, please tell Frank I say hi. I love you and will carry you in my heart and one day we will see each other again...Stephanie Quenzer"

"I will never forget when Carole told me she was watching me at my Grandmother (Nan's) house, attempting to feed me a bowl of spaghetti, that I decided to take the bowl and pour it over my head! She always posted cute memes of kids with spaghetti on their heads just to remind me! You have a beautiful Soul and your love for flowers, antiques, birds and Dobies, will never leave our hearts! God Bless you Carole Mackey Block! "

"Our dear Carole was a proud Jersey Girl who was thoughtful, had a good sense of humor and loved to have fun. She was a terrific bargain hunter and an avid Facebook fan. Her big heart expanded for her love of dobies. Rusty, Lotus and Lucy benefited from her love and Lucy?s life was saved through her expertise in nurturing her health issues and through surviving megaesophagus. Carole?s wonderful spirit loved to dance to Bill?s gift of Alexa as she danced, as if no one was watching (like it should be!), to her favorite music. My daughter?s love of reading was nurtured and benefited by gifts as a result of Carole?s love of good children?s books. Carole loved traveling to the Keys with her mother and with Bill and enjoyed sunsets from Key West?s Mallory Square. Carole, we are comforted knowing you have been reunited with Alice and that your travel plans are endless in the next phase of your journey. Godspeed Carole!"
