""The invisible man" is the joke we keep telling ourselves. This man, my brother. Was a legend that his brothers all looked up too. Jokes and goofy behavior that this man had warmed the hearts of strangers who became family to him.
From his childhood stories that you wouldn't believe unless you knew him. He was a man of action. Pulling people out of a flipped car, while everyone else just watched. Swimming rip tides to save a life. He would never take a second thought.
These aren't even the quality that you would describe him by, because James W. Bascom was a family man doing everything he could foe his family. He loved his wife, and two daughters more than air. They were his every joy. They made him the man he was.
It's hard to believe life without this joyous man. IThere so much that will hurt from years to come just think how things would of been if he was there. To make a joke. Talk about gay obsessions, that were made up to keep a joke alive. "Sweet baby jesus" or "jesus loves you" he would say when he could remember what to say.
Man i love you bro. All the advise you had that made me a better man. You were so proud of me for the littlest things. That meant the world to me man. I don't understand how your time had to be called. I'm greatful for the time that we had. My brother and great friend. Sleep well bro. "

"Our hearts are breaking. So, very saddened by the news of James passing. Is still so hard to believe. Last time I saw him he flew down to Washington to be the loyal friend has always been to my son Josh when he was very ill. Then stood beside him when he and Jenni were married. James has always been that kid that stood up for the under dog and run to the recue of a perfect stanger. Still so very hard to believe this strong and amazing person is no longer here. He will be greatly missed by us all. Our family are all so very saddened and send our thoughts and prayers to his, Wife Dorothy, sweet little girls, His mom that adored him and all of his family. God's blessings and comfort at this time of such a huge loss........Love and blessings to you all. Debbie and family"
