MUSCATINE, Iowa - Michael 'Joe' Schwab, 53, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018, at Unity Point Hospital - Bettendorf.
There will be no service or visitation. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements
Michael was born on February 22, 1965, in Muscatine, the son fo Melvin C. and Elizabeth Griffin Schwab.
He worked at MUSCO Sports Lighting. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, loved the Chicago Cubs, the Iowa Hawkeyes, listening to music, shooting darts and going to dart tournaments.
Those left to honor his memory include his step-father, Melvin Samuelson of Muscatine; two brothers, Jason Samuelson of Ovid, Colorado, and Tim Schwab of Muscatine; two sisters, Melissa McDaniel and husband, Scott, of Wapello, and Glenda Drake and husband, Sheldon of Midland, Texas; two step-brothers, Mike Samuelson and wife, Patty, of Muscatine, and Craig Samuelson and wife, Cathy, of Muscatine; one step-sister, Pam Paul and husband, James, of Letts; one aunt, Kay Horton and husband, Ron, of Muscatine; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jeff Schwab.
