"Luella, besides being a wonderful sister-in-law, was a GREAT friend. Just loved being with her and sharing many family memories. She had a genuine interest in all of our family. Admired her everlasting energy for most of her life. She, with Tony, were such wonderful parents. Think of her so often--how we miss her already. KATHY, be proud."

"Mrs. Lelii was a sweet lady who amazed us with her energy. She was always finding a project at her house to keep her busy. Age was only a number to her. We certainly have missed her smiling face in the neighborhood. She was blessed with a fulfilling life, and we share in your loss."

"Kathy, I just wanted to tell you that my mother, Marie Donato, just thought of your mom as her dearest friend. Your mom was so sweet to my mom - she has so many wonderful memories of your mom - she remembers when she and my dad were getting married your mom helped her settle into her new home - a valley house like hers. Your mom was almost like a mom to her - when my oldest brother was born, your mom went to our home and cleaned it and got it ready for the new baby. She and my mom just clicked and understood each other - she will be dearly missed. My mom was so happy that you and your mom stopped by over last summer - and she said you wanted to see the "cat clock" again - and your mom cried to the whole time talking with her. Their friendship was dear and I just wanted to let you know that my mom wanted to come to the funeral today - but wasnt feeling up to do it - but wanted somehow to convey her condolences. If you could send me your address - I know my mom would love to send you a note in the mail. I am so sorry for your loss - and wanted to let you know that my mom is so heart broken to hear of your mom's passing - she was a dear person and will be missed."

"My deep condolences to the Lelii family, The pain of losing a loved one is oh, so real. May you find some comfort in the Most High God?s word (Psalms 83:18) . Yes, He promises a time when we can see our loved ones again(Acts 24:15) in perfect health(Isaiah 33:24) and He says where: Psalms 37:11. May you hold on to God?s promises. May comfort & peace be with you"

"I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't had Aunt Luella to lean on when I went back to work after my divorce. My son, Christopher was only 2 at the time, and every time I reached out to my aunt because I needed help she was there and I will never forget her for that. A wonderful aunt, always !"
