Warren David Bryant, Jr
October 01, 1948 - April 26, 2018
Warren David Bryant, Jr, known throughout his life as, 'David', was born October 1st, 1948, the first of five siblings (two brothers and two sisters) in Alexandria, VA to Warren and Eleanor Bryant. At the age of eleven, David's parents moved the family to the state of Florida where he attended public schools and attained adulthood.
Though the chronology of events are uncertain or unclear, David attended college, got married and fathered three children. He, also, enlisted in the United States Naval Branch of the military. While in the Navy, he was an aircraft mechanic and was stationed in Bremerton, WA. After four years of service, he received an honorable discharge and moved with his young family to the Tacoma, WA area. Throughout his lifetime, he resided in other states, but the state of Washington became his final 'earthly' home.
David held various jobs, but he spoke most often of employment as a nurse for Western State Hospital and as a trucker for Provisioners. However, the job he loved and cherished most was minister of the Gospel, and he received stewardship from Pastor Hermon Smith after he moved to Seattle, WA.
In the spring of 1996, his pastor, Hermon Smith, scheduled him to sing two songs at a church conference in Oregon state. A pianist was required to learn the songs and play the songs within a few days. The pastor enlisted help from long time friend Arlene Williams who played piano by 'ear'. He introduced David and Arlene, and they practiced and rehearsed the songs to satisfaction. The presentation at the conference was blessed, beautiful and powerful, and set the stage for a like relationship together in and with the Lord.
David married Arlene Roberson-Williams December 31st, 1996, and together, they brought fruition to Living Water Fellowship. David was ordained a pastor in Christian ministry by Bishop Hermon Smith of Daily Bread Outreach Ministries - Seattle, WA; as a rabbi in the Hebrew ministry by Rabbi Eddie Mason of The Hebrew Embassy - Tacoma, WA; and he was ordained in the Judaic-Hebrew ministry by Israeli Rabbi Pastor David Yaniv of Roots Messianic Congregation - Lynnwood, WA. And Pastor David Bryant became known as ben-David (son of David), and he pursued his love for the Gospel with purpose, passion and dedication.
Pastor ben-David was an avid writer (e.g., First Steps ----- a rehabilitation plan for alcoholism and drugs. This plan was shared successfully in an area prison and in the Philippines), poet, teacher of the Bible, vocalist (What a tenor!) and guitarist. His wife, Arlene, accompanied him vocally and with piano or keyboard. His wife was, also, his editor, staunchest supporter, confidante and, per ben-David's own words, 'dearest friend'.
But, the time finally arrived for him to step down in order to step UP. Never again would he drive or be driven to commitments or events; and never again would he drive or be driven to his home in Seattle, WA. There was no need. Surely, with the grueling, bumpy ride he had endured, he was elated to fly first class in safety on Angel's wings. And the flight left, unimpeded, according to The Heavenly Father's plan and schedule. On Thursday April 26th, 2018 at approximately 6:10 a.m., the beautiful rays of the new day's sunshine brought the awaited 'hello', and ben-David Bryant said, 'good-bye'.
To cherish his memory with appreciation and love are his children: Daughter, Noel of Port Orchard, WA (and her three daughters); son, Nicholas of Rochester, WA (and his wife, daughter and son); son, Noah of Kent, WA (and his wife and four sons); stepson Armond Williams, Jr (and his two daughters); stepson Andre' Williams (and his wife, two daughters and two sons); stepson Allen Williams (and his wife and three daughters); stepdaughter Aimee Williams (and her five sons); sister-in-law Mary Roberson of Kent, WA; sister-in-law Carrie Franklin of White Plains, NY; niece Kharmyn Williams of Kent, WA; nephrew Kevin Shepherd of Renton, WA; nephrew D'Mario Mallory of Renton, WA and niece Angela Cole of Encino, CA. And so much appreciated are the extended family members who embraced ben-David and his wife with that bold, 'in-your-face' kind of love:: The Kautz-McCoys: William 'Larry', Rochelle 'Rocky' and LaChelle 'Shelby'; The Williamses: Connie, Arlen, Aprecious, A.G., Aubrey, Betty and Bonnie; The Poydras-Day's: Mother Orelia, Florence 'Flo', Bernadette and Willard 'Chris'. ben-David's dearest friends John Raiche, DeJon Shegrud and Chris Gardiner are acknowledged for their concern and support.
Undoubtedly, the one person on this earth who will miss ben-David and love and cherish his memory the most is his wife of twenty-one plus years, Arlene! But, Arlene knows ben-David is not in a better place, because ben-David embraced the superlative: He is in the best place!
So, I ask: "Where, O death, is your victory? Where O death, is your sting?" 1 Cor 15:55 NIV Shalom my husband, my heart, my love, my friend! Shalom (peace) to you!
Still with love: Your wife, Arlene

"Until we meet again Uncle David,
I remember how much you love Yahuah, and I remember how much you love Auntie Arlene. I remember your genuine childlike exuberance for Yahuah, and how your eyes light up with love and compassion for the people and things you love. You have a beautiful heart, thank you for sharing it with my family. You will always be a part of us. If my prayers go straight to the throne as you once told me, then I pray that you are comfortable and resting in Yahuah till we meet again
We love you always,
