Marilyn Orr Lunn
November 28, 1927 - January 26, 2017

Marilyn Orr Lunn, Marilyn joined her many family and friends in heaven on January 26, 2017, she was a young, 89 years old. Born to John and Fannie Orr, Kingston, NY, on November 28, 1927, she is survived by her sisters, Virginia Rouland of Gettysburg, PA, Corolie Camp of Kingston, her nephew, Philip Neri of Lake Katrine, NY and numerous nieces and nephews in various states. Her brother, John Orr, North Carolina, predeceased her in 2012.

Marilyn was employed by New York Telephone Co. for 35 years, retiring in 1983. Marilyn volunteered at People's Place for 25 years, was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America, AARP, and the National Wildlife Federation. She enjoyed traveling and gardening. An avid reader, she always stayed up to date on current events. She loved her cats, especially 17 year old Sassy. Marilyn loved all animals, fed birds, squirrels, and any other animal that came along who was hungry. She will be greatly missed by many special friends.

Entrusted to the care of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, where friends and family may visit on Sunday January 29, from 5pm to 8pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 10am at the funeral home with entombment following in Wiltwyck Cemetery Community Mausoleum.
