Hurley – Jean T. Marrus of Russell Road died Monday, November 20, 2017 at Health Alliance Hospital Broadway Campus. She was 82. She was born in Mt. Vernon, NY a daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Shirras Troup. A Registered Nurse, she graduated from nursing school in White Plains. She was employed by Kingston Hospital, for 20 years, retiring in 1993. On March 9, 1957, she married Jay Marrus in the 1st. Presbyterian Church in Mt. Vernon. Jean and her husband enjoyed camping. Surviving in addition to her husband is her son Glenn (Sonia) Marrus of Wallingford, CT and her sister, M. Kathleen Troup of East Chester, NY. Three grandchildren, Ricky Marrero, Victoria Marrus, Glenn Marrus II and three great-grandchildren, Leah, Ricky Jr. and Noah also survive. A daughter, Victoria J. Marrus died July 2, 1995. Entrusted to the care of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave., Kingston. Cremation and inurnment are private.
