Marion A. Brueckner
February 1, 1928 - February 24, 2018

Marion A. Brueckner, 90, of Lake Katrine, NY, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018. She was born February 1, 1928 in Johnstown, NY to the late Alfred and Bertha (Blackwood) VanAvery. She was married to the late Frederick W. Brueckner, they wed on December 5, 1950. Frederick passed away on April 24, 1999. Marion worked at Key Bank for many years. She enjoyed traveling to visit her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and also loved to eat pie.



She is survived by her daughters, Lorraine (Alan) Lyons, Linda Segovis, Pam (Lou) Opipare, Elizabeth Closi, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she is predeceased by her brothers, James, Nelson, Edward, and Alfred VanAvery, Jr., all of Fort Plain, NY.  



Entrusted to the care of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, where family and friends may visit on Saturday March, 3rd 2018 from 10am to 11am.
