George "Otis" Edward Schwab

George "Otis" Edward Schwab, 68, of Keokuk, IA passed away on April 27, 2018 at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, IA.

Otis was born in Keokuk, IA on November 8, 1949 the son of George Edward Schwab, Jr. and Dorothy I. Renpe. He was a lifelong resident of Keokuk area, he followed his father's footsteps and worked for Hubinger/Roquette for many years. Otis was a member of the B.P.O.E Elks Lodge 106. He enjoyed golfing, watching baseball and "Hawkeyes" football. In his early years he was in a bowling league. He was into playing video games the last few years.

Otis is survived by his four children: Neil (Karena) Schwab, Brandy (Bill) Davis, Dan (Jeannie) Schwab all of Keokuk, IA and Tarabeth (Chris) Peabody of Hamilton, IL; three sisters: Susan (Chuck) Rothlauf of Cottonwood, AZ, Christina (Bruce) Randall of Iowa City, IA and Jennifer (Ron) Rosencrans of Cambridge, MN, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins, and one aunt.

Otis was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Otis's Life will be Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Elks Lodge in Keokuk with family meeting friends.
