"I am very sorry for your loss and I am saddened by his passing. As I reflect back to my childhood, from my awanas days at church to the road trips to church camp. John was always there faithfully serving the Lord and being a disciple of Christ. I know that my best friend Eddie and myself were not the easiest kids to handle, but he preformed the task with a stern voice and a love of God that he had and showed us with his actions. I will have to say that some of my faith in God had to have come from John's commitment to serving the Lord and showing it each time we were around him. RIP my brother in Christ!!"
